Visiting Cenote Batcave is extraordinary.
Wednesday’s Good Deal of the Day
Indeed, the dark landscape during the guiding line is majestically decorated with speleothems.
You will love the adventure of snaking between the huge columns and the laser lights.
In fact, visiting this flooded cavern is every cave diver’s dream. Again, the labyrinth in which you penetrate will give you a sense of how big the galleries are.
Keep following the line if you want to discover the Green Room, another cenote of the cave system Dos Ojos. Cenote Batcave has an underground river that leads you into massive caverns then to a cathedral-like air dome. Here, you will popup to the surface to say hello to the bats.
The landscape at the end of the dive is breathtaking. Once again, visiting the batcave is extraordinary!
Cenote Batcave is part of the system Sac Actun, the longest underwater cave system in the world of 364 kms. It is situated 45 km south of Playa del Carmen, 15 km north of Tulum. Cenote Batcave is world famous. Plenty of documentaries have been filmed here in the late 90’s. For instance it was National Geographic’s filming location for several months. It is a place where you can spend a day with your family snorkeling and enjoying the shade of the luxurious trees of the surrounding jungle.
At the entrance of the property you will see a small toll where we pay the entrance fees and you will be welcomed by the smiling Mayan staff. After a short ride of 8 minutes, you will reach the main parking and start your cenote diving adventure. It’s clean and the infrastructure of the park is very good.
Cenote Batcave is suggested with Cenote Barbie Line as a double tank.
