Friday's Good Deal of the Day
Cenote diving in Angelita is a must do.
Yes! It’s a cenote dive that will knock your socks off.
Goosebumps and fascination, that’s what we are talking about. It’s not only scuba diving, it’s an unfortgettable experience.
Cenote Angelita resembles a pond in the jungle. It has a 25 metre diameter. The green is everywhere. Unlike other cenotes the water of Angelita is greenish. Besides, the surface of the water is often covered by brown leaf and pollen. So, before even getting in the water you understand that this dive is different from the others.
Cenote Angelita has this unique feature that distinguishes it from others nearby. The famous cloud at 27 meters. Nothing like the halocline you may see in the other diving spots. These two layers of water are separated by a thick layer of hydrogen sulphate that appears as a cotton viewed from above and as a uniquely coloured hue from below.
That is to say, you will feel being in a science fiction movie set. It’s the feeling you will have while crossing the hydrogen sulphate cloud. You will fly around a tiny island in the middle of nowhere. In other words, you will leave the planet Earth for another dimension during a dive time.
A terrific, but calm ambience, a time capsule in which you will enjoy asking yourself how nature created such a mystical place.
In short, will you dare to dive in Angelita? Thus, experienced divers are welcomed to live a thrilling moment with us. Twilight zone! You will easily name it in your top 5 dives of your life.
It is situated south of Tulum, 80 km distance from Playa del Carmen. And it’s for sure the farthest of all. Angelita is held by a welcoming family that lives just nearby the cenote. In a lovely house without walls where you will pay the entrance fees. You will need to walk through the jungle for about a minutes after preparing your gear from the parking to reach this site.
